Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Cookbo does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your recipes stay on your device and in your personal iCloud account — no one else can access them.

Data Storage

All recipe data is stored entirely on your device or in your personal iCloud Drive account. Cookbo has no servers, no backend, and no database of its own.

When using iCloud, your data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. Apple handles all sync and storage — Cookbo never has access to your files.

Data We Do Not Collect

Cookbo does not collect, store, or transmit:

— Personal information (name, email, account details)
— Usage data or analytics
— Crash reports sent to third parties
— Device identifiers
— Location data
— Any recipe content

No Accounts Required

Cookbo requires no account, login, or registration of any kind. There is no sign-in, no profile, and no user tracking.

Third-Party Services

Cookbo uses no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks. The only network activity is iCloud sync, which is handled directly by Apple's frameworks.

Photo Library

Cookbo may request access to your photo library to let you add images to recipes. Photos are stored locally within your cookbook files and are never uploaded to any external server.

Children's Privacy

Cookbo does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
